“Instead of learning our subject, we sat in class coloring and watching YouTube videos,” she said, “It was extremely a.n.a ballet flats frustrating to show up to class every day, wanting to learn, and to have a teacher who didn’t want to teach.”, Smith said the cost of keeping ineffective teachers is high: “If we continue to support these policies at the expense of our children, I think the long-term well-being of California is in jeopardy.”, Daniella is now a seventh-grader at a San Jose charter school that her mother says has motivating and engaging teachers, But her mother, who after the suit was filed won a seat on the Alum Rock school board, worries about the future..
Put in his place? No. Seen in his appropriate place — no better than 24 others? Yes. And that’s new for the Nats. It’s OK for Harper to take his favorite bats on a road trip, shining like so many Stradivarius violins, in a gigantic case with each one protected from touching any of the others. The show seems intended for kids, or, as they say, “children of all ages.” It’s described as a “human cartoon,” full of clownish tomfoolery with plenty of vocalizations but almost no words. (You can occasionally make out a “You!” or “Yeah” amid the squeaking and cooing.) Fortunately, the five-person cast, three of whom were in the original production, is awfully good at keeping an hour’s worth of madcap physical comedy entertaining, if not always clear as to what exactly is going on at any given moment.
