Local performers who will be representing their cultures through music and dance include the Akoma Drummers, Los Lupeños de San Jose, Khamsin Belly Dance, Fiddle Road and the Millenium Sounds Orchestra. The event will also include dinner catered by Catered Too!, with pours from Joseph George Fine Wines and brews from Gordon Biersch. Tickets for the 5-10 p.m. fundraiser are $175. Proceeds from the Valley of Heart’s Delight benefit History San Jose’s education programs, which provide curriculum-based field trips for more than 20,000 grade school students each school year, combining hands-on activity with required history, language arts and math standards. During the summer History San Jose presents Friends & Family Days that expand on these programs.
