“Our motto this year is 3,000 lobsters, 1,200 patrons–you do the math,” party chairwoman Diana Pleasant said. “It averages out to about 2.7 lobsters per person.”. People are asked not to sneak lobsters home in purses or bags. That said, there’s something new this year called Lobster-A-Go-Go. “At the end of the evening we usually have lobster leftover, so we’re going to sell them for $15 apiece,” Pleasant said. People who make it to the end of the evening will see members of Los Gatos Boy Scout Troop 2 wearing miner’s helmets. “They wear the helmets with head lamps,” Pleasant said. “They’ve learned what they need to clean up in the dark.”.
